Why was the BLACK & WHITE Hello Kitty series invented?

The original Hello Kitty would understably appeal to the young. How about for those not so young? That is precisely the reason why the black & white hello kitty series was invented.

In the occassion of Mother's day, giving out hello kitty item as your gift to your beloved moms would not that be unreasonable if you pick the black & white hello kitty product lines.

It is foremost of the fictional characters created by the Japanese company, Sanrio.

Born on November 1st, Hello Kitty has a twin sister named Mimmy and resides in London, England with their parents.

Hello Kitty is a symbol of friendship and believes that "we can never have too many friends".

The first Hello Kitty item was a vinyl coin purse designed by Ikuko Shimizu in 1974. Two years after, it has reached the United States. Today, it is an annual billion-dollar product line worldwide.

This is the newest Hello Kitty item in my collection - a Hello Kitty Pillow.

The Hello Kitty Face is on the front. The pillow is about a foot in length and width while its thickness is about half a foot.

This soft pillow can also be used on sofa's if you like something to cuddle on but I put this on my bedroom.

This is my Charmy Kitty Micro wallet. It's basically just an accessory since only a small object can fit in. Best example, would be drug tablet. Suitable if you are under medication and you need to bring the tablet some place else than your home. Currently it houses my 2 GB pqi flash drive.

Hello Kitty Chopsticks

This is my Hello Kitty Chopstick.

Wikipedia says that Chopsticks or Hashi in Japanese are a pair of small equal-length tapered sticks, which are generally believed to have originated in ancient China, and are the traditional eating utensils of China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Usually associated in eating noodles, my hello kitty chopsticks have been used in Filipino cuisines of noodle variety such as Pancit Bihon and Pancit Canton. Just for the effect, I see to it that I use this when I eat Seafood Cup Noodles my boyfriend gave me. Other times, this chopstick has been utilized to eat local instant noodles or pancit canton.

Its chow time! :)

My Hello Kitty Travel Mug and Cup

Whether a sip of hot coffee to shed my sleepiness or a cool refreshing drink to quench my thirst in hot afternoons, this hello kitty travel mug and hello kitty cup could really make my day.

The travel mug has been been assigned in my office locker, returning home every now and then. Breaks during office hours take an additional dimension of fun whenever I use this mug. The coffee tastes much richer while colas or softdrinks become more flavorful.

The cup naturally stays at home and usually greets me good in the morning. I even used it if I prefer to drink juice. Because its my favorite, there is an unwritten rule in our kitchen that it is to be left alone except by me.

In time, I have accumulated important cards such as ATM cards, Credit cards, Insurance cards, health cards... etc. My Hello Kitty Card Holder is quite helpful in organizing them.

The card holder also proves useful in protecting physical condition of my cards. Not to mention, I can insert some of the important receipts for my records.

This Hello Kitty Mouse Pad is one of my recent purchases. I needed a mouse pad for my workpost and being a fanatic that I am, this mouse pad easily caught my attention. For less than 200 bucks, it is definitely a good buy. Very much pleased with myself, I just bought it home.

Hello Kitty Locket Watch

The crave to collect hello kitty items started with this silver Hello Kitty locket watch. A collectible gift from a very special person in my life.

The first thing I did when I received this locket was to put our picture inside it. Later our names were engraved on the locket cover.

The locket is accompanied by silver chain. An image of Hello Kitty is embossed in the clockface and another image embossed in the locket cover.
